Zinnias are amazing flowers. I love the layers, shades, and bounty that comes with a field full. I was invited to a friends garden this summer and almost passed them by, I’ve always thought of them as so common. She wouldn’t let me leave until I looked at them. I’m so glad I did!

Description
Hand-dyed organic cotton canvas with natural Indigo. The original design comes from the inspiration of that visit to my neighbours garden. I love the play with light, space and texture.
Method
Created with free-motion embroidery or Thread Painting, on a longarm sewing machine. No computerization, no automation.
